18__ Rotary Steamboat & Carraige Stock Certificate. Interesting post Civil War steam powered ship and carriage scripophily certificate with vignettes of line drawings of steamboat and a steam powered carriage. Company founded in 1866 with the purpose of designing steam engines that can directly provide rotary motion. Not much is known about whatever sucess this company may have achieved, but idea was way ahead of its time. Certificate indicates a patent for rotary steam powered carriage was issued in 1866. VF+ condition.
