Item Description: Amazing Chinese limestone / calcite stone carving in the shape of a sitting dog or rabbit wearing a bell collar, ovoid stylized body, incised curved line at the shoulder, large hind legs, short twisted tail, small head with long hanging ears, round opening within the mouth, large hole at the underside, hollowed inside. Seems atypical design for water stopper but I believe that’s what it is. It seems to work, but I am no expert! SHIPS ASAP! I have attached two images from a different eBay auction. The seller is a very well respected auctioneer of very high end asian collections. While this other object is porcelain rather than stone the form, time frame, and construction are very similar. Worth looking at I think. Thanks
