ANTIQUE-1900'S-IMPERIAL TROUSER HANGER-PYNCHON&CO.PHILADELPHIA-PAT.NOV.27,1900.
Manufactured 121 years ago in 1900, has a cast iron back plate embossed with the date of Nov. 27. Would make a nice birthday gift for someone born on Nov. 27th!
Predrilled holes on back plate make for easy  hanging. Screws are not included.
Made to hold several pairs of thin trousers back in the day, can be used as a nice 9.5" x 3" metal wall shelf now, or tie rack or yes, even a wall mounted trouser hanger.
We have seen the same style Imperial Trouser Hanger but embossed with different city names.
Maybe this was something people collected back in the day or was patented in different cities patent offices. (?)
