Draft script for the 1973 play "There Was a Little Girl," here under both that title and the working title "Madhouse." With a holograph pencil notation of copy No. 18 on the title page. Laid in with the script is a four page copied budget proposal.
Nothing is known about whether the play was produced, but it was apparently adapted to the screen in 1982 by Marx and Bob Fisher and directed by Chuck Connors (under the pseudonym Martin Herbert). Like the play, little information is available on the film, and though it listed in IMDB as having been completed, that may be incorrect.
Set on the Texas Panhandle, shot on location in Savannah, Georgia.
