    Dimensions:  5" high by 4 1/2" diameter by 3/8" wall thickness
    The natural bamboo has a lacquered surface with ornate decor depicting a calligraphy poem
    and galloping horses. During the era of the Ming & Qing dynasties Chinese scholars, the literati
    class, used beautiful elaborate tools, furniture, and other accessories in their intellectual pursuits.
    The original brush pots were scribes' containers for holding brushes for Chinese calligraphy.
    These items represented the physical embodiment of intellectual curiosity and aesthetic taste.
