    此鼻烟壶的材质属于缅甸根珀，可见溶洞，材质稀少。根珀是缅甸地壳版块活动剧烈造成的，根珀是缅甸琥珀特有的品种，在其他地区的均不具有这样的条件形成如此特别的根珀。根珀珀底带花，所以根珀中常见琥珀溶洞这一奇观。流入中国的缅甸琥珀中，品相好的根珀是占少数的，都是属高档琥珀，常常在进入中国大门的第一站云南就被大收藏家们加入收藏。
    Up for your consideration is a snuff bottle made from Amber. Considering its age, it's condition is acceptable. Provenance: Christie's Auction House 2014
    The stopper is copper and lapis.
    I acquired this piece from a Christies auction in October of 2014.
    The height is 4", or 10 cm
    Weight of the amber without lid is 95 grams. The lid is 28 grams.
    There are scratches, dents and age cracks.
