    Description

    DINNER AT EIGHT
by George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber
    was published was published in
    1935 by Samuel French.
A Play in Three Acts, this is the Acting Edition, probably a First Thus.  Mrs. Jordan, a fashionable New York, invites an immaculate crowd to her dinner where people become aware of many sordid secrets concerning the people at the table, 163 pages.   A
first Music Box program of the play lists the actors at the front.
    There are
    four b/w glossy plates
of a performance, probably at the Music Box in New York.
Seven pages at the back have set diagramming.
The thick paper cover has  an art nouveau design for French's Standard Library Edition.  About 9" tall.
    In
    good condition and without markings
, the book has this wear:   Front & back covers slightly pulling away from stapled spine where they are glued.    Handling wear to cover, especially at edges and top corner.
