ABOUT
The Energy Resource Cd-ROM contains information vital to individuals and organizations interested in energy efficiency, environmental issues, water quality and conservation, or weather related topics.  The CD-ROM includes fact sheets, brochures, tables, illustrations and digitized color photographs on topics ranging from how to purchase an air conditioner, to conserving energy with landscape techniques, to preparing for a hurricane.
The Florida Energy Extension Service (FEES):
For more than a decade, FEES has developed programs to empower individuals and businesses in Florida to make informed resource-use decisions.  FEES works with a diverse clientele offering a variety of science-based programs that stress the connection between energy and resource efficiency, profitability, and environmental protection.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
A computer with at least a 386SX processor
4 MB of RAM or better
A SuperVGA video card with at least 512k of RAM (VESA standard)
A hard disk with at least 10MB of free space
A CD-ROM drive
A mouse
An HP LaserJet II or compatible printer with at least 2.5MB of memory
Programs written several years ago were not designed to take advantage of the graphics and processing power of the most updated machines.  More recent operating environments may use one of the following options:
◦Windows Compatibility mode (Already on your machine)
◦XP emulation (Free Microsoft download for Windows 7 Professional & Ultimate)
◦Dosbox (A free download that allows you to emulate a Dos environment on your Window's machine).
