It's not an understatement to say that this may be the best piece of memorabilia to ever be offered from one of the most beloved Broadway musicals from the second half of the 20th Century! Up for sale is an original script from the original 1964 production of "Hello, Dolly!", which would make Carol Channing a star!
This script was owned by original cast member Carvel Carter, and features Carter's name on the first page, along with the individual script number (46). It also has producer David Merrick's address and phone number on the first page.
This script is in excellent condition. The cover has some paper loss and is a bit brittle, but the pages are all in great condition. It is not an exaggeration to say that if you miss out on this you may never see another one!
In June 2021, Carol Channing's copy of this script was auctioned at her estate sale and sold for over ,000 with the buyer's premium. So the price here is a
