Renown British director, J. Lee Thompson, worked for four decades in Hollywood and London, directing such classics as "The Guns of Navarone" (1961) and "Cape Fear" (1962). Born into a theatre family, Thompson began writing plays as a child and reportedly had written 40 plays by his late teens, two staged, "Murder Happens?" (1934) and "Double Error" (1935).
Larry Grace wants nothing more than to revive his stardom, and the part of Rhet Butler in the sequel to "Gone with the Wind" seems just the ticket. When the head of the studio, his wife and once starlet herself, Edie Kravitz, denies him the role while demanding an immediate divorce, Larry has no choice but to enlist an aspiring young actor's help in a quick, well planned murder.
Set in Beverly Hills, California.
