    Description

    In pristine condition, are these 2 vintage wooden hangers from the glitzy, ST. FRANCIS HOTEL in SAN FRANCISCO, California.
    Most likely from the 1940’s / 50’s when my grandmother “borrowed them” to take home and hang up her new frocks from I. Magnin’s. They are longer than most hangers today which affects their shipping costs.
    -One is a suit hanger with a bar for hanging pants measuring 19” long x 6” tall(+ 3” for the metal hook)
    -The other is a coat / dress hanger with defined notches to prevent slide-offs measuring 17” long x 6” tall.
    Both hangers are clearly embossed in black with “ST. FRANCIS HOTEL SAN FRANCISCO, Cali” on one side. The other side of both hangers are blank.
    The wood of both hangers is undamaged, clean, smooth and splinter-free. The metal hardware (hooks) on both remain firmly attached, sturdy and rust free.
