Morning Glory Chinese Vase Brush Pot handcrafted by Ming Jia Art Pottery
This lovely Morning Glory Brush Pot is a beautiful, handmade art piece. It is signed or marked (imprinted) on the bottom with the maker's mark (see photos.) Made of clay, glazed, with beautiful morning glory embellishments. Whoever made this brush pot was very skilled.
It is large: this heavy clay vase or brush pot is 7 inches high and 4 inches wide (diameter.)
Ming Jia Art Pottery is located in southern China in the city of Chaozhou, a famous ceramics center for 1300 years.
The vase came from an estate so it is very likely vintage but I don't know how old it is.
