Reports indicate over 20 million Americans are struggling to keep pace with their utility bills, and now former Trump campaign adviser Stephen Moore is weighing in on growing concerns over the plummeting home prices and the left's green energy push as a costly alternative to fossil fuels.Moore added "Americans should be paying attention to what happens when you go with green energy because Europe is telling us a story, and nobody's paying any attention…"
The U.N. projects that 68% of the world’s population will live in cities by mid-century, up from 55% today. Such growth will place additional demands on urban infrastructures while necessitating that city governments deliver many of their services at an ever-greater scale.
To achieve this cost-effectively and at the required scale, cities will need to leverage new concept technology to streamline operations and use AI data purposefully focused to deliver a better quality of life to residents.
In this evolving 21st Century arena, one small firm in Kansas has developed the new core clean energy technology concept that billions will find themselves relying on to become far more energy self-sufficient and to avoid the practice of burning fossil fuels. See and contact

What is offered here is a license to make and market the BlackJack Firebox furnace in a license taker's trade area . This could be the area of a state or a county in the USA or a province in Canada or in a country on another Contenant like in Europe that is now under threat and looking for ways to become more energy self-sufficient and thus independent. The exact time period of the license and other terms and conditions is negotiable - and will be agreed upon before the technology transfer goes into effect - and if the terms are not agreed on, the buyer will receive a refund of any money they have paid.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT THE BLACKJACK ™ FURNACE
The world is taking notice of the ground-breaking tool we have developed to better support climate advocates, policy makers, and business leaders – like you – who cannot effectively move the needle on the transition to clean energy without a comprehensive view on technology and policy developments happening right now.
I think we all know that state-level greenhouse gas emission targets are not attainable without novel new means of enabling decision makers. Therefore, AAEC is working to enable and inform them.
#1
What is the Battle of BlackJack Furnace?
The BlackJack (tm) furnace
is a multifuel/multiuse-outside furnace representing a new concept in alternative energy heating.
#2
Why a combination multifuel and multiuse furnace?
Most all of us have solid waste (trash) to get rid of and also have to buy energy for heating our homes or businesses or both. Thus we have both disposal and heating costs to contend with. The BlackJack ™ Furnace is designed to turn this all too typical lose-lose situation into a win-win situation.
#3
What kinds of fuel will it use?
Almost any combustible solid fuels can be burned. For general home, shop, farm building or business heating requirements fuels used can be any solid waste materials. Scrap lumber or dead trees or from trees not normally considered to be suitable for firewood like cottonwood, elm, pine. Even crotches, stumps or hard to split woods all work well in the BlackJack furnace, largely because of its larger door opening. Also various wastes such as waste paper, scrap wood or corrugated boxes, corn cobs and other agri-byproducts are a good fuel source. Broken pallets or scrap from construction, demolition or manufacturing can be used in the BlackJack furnace. Agricultural - byproduct materials that are "baleable" can be used, such as corn stalks, wheat straw, bean stems, baled weeds, etc. Consider your sources of free fuel carefully as these are an important means of cutting your bottom line expenses.
Small square bales will fit into the tall BlackJack furnace whole and can even be stoked automatically with our automatic bale feeder system. (currently still under development) Conventional fuels can be used by adding a gas or an oil burner as a primary or backup fuel.
#4
What kind of person owns a BlackJack furnace?
A thinking and caring person. A person who is thinking about how we are rapidly using up the world’s fossil fuels and what that means for all future generations and what this habit is doing to our environment. And a person who cares about the Earth and our landfill and solid waste problems in general. And people wanting a degree of energy independence and who also may have a supply of combustible materials they could be using for fuel and especially those who are having to pay to dispose of those materials.
#5
How much heat can the BlackJack furnace produce?
Furnaces are usually rated by their input capacity in British Thermal Units per hour, (BTUs). That is if they burn natural gas, or oil they are rated at how much of those fuels they can burn, per hour, converted to BTUs. It would be impossible to rate the BlackJack ™ furnace in like manner because it can burn many different fuels and the per hour burning rate can be controlled by the operator. With a conventional furnace you don't control the burning rate as it has a "fixed rate" of combustion that can be rated in BTUs. Also outside furnaces will vary in efficiency from one installation to another, due to such things as how far the unit is placed from the building heated. We rate the BlackJack furnace on an "up to" rating. The smallest of our furnaces is rated at "up to" 75,000 BTUs per hour. This is approximately equivalent to a gas furnace that is rated at about 90,000 BTUs on an "on demand" basis. In other words 75,000 BTUs continuously is about right for heating a home that normally requires around 85,000 to 95,000 BTUs on an on demand basis. The 25" furnace unit is the smallest and successive increases in size correspond to a greater heat input/output.
#6
How is the heat output controlled?
Heat output is controlled in a number of ways including with the manual damper control and by the type and amount of fuel stoked into the unit. An automatic heat output control system, consisting of a thermostatically controlled damper, will be available as well as well as other means of controlling the temperature in a home or other building. People may find that the manual damper is all that is needed and so we recommend that the furnace be installed without these automatic features and added later only if needed.
#7
How often does the BlackJack furnace need fueling?
Stoking frequency depends on the size of the area heated, outside temperature, wind factor, fuel type, insulation, etc. The BlackJack furnace, when being stoked manually, will probably require refueling once in four hours to once in twelve hours, depending on those factors just listed. Also compacted waste paper burns longer than un-compacted paper because it is denser. The furnace is designed to accept standard compactor cubes. Inside the firebox the unit is from 18" x 21" x 24" on the smallest to 18" x 58" x 52" on the largest. Some installations can use a heat storage tank filled with water.
#8
Can the BlackJack furnace store heat
?
With its heavy iron construction and firebrick lining the BlackJack furnace is very heavy. This much mass will store a lot of heat, and as a result it can continue to add heat to a heating system for several hours after the fire has died down. This tends to even out the heat output and provide a more even heat. Heat storage tanks filled with water work well to store heat also.
#9
How would this stored heat be used?
Typically, for home heating, in cold winter conditions, a fire would be stoked up with a heavy fuel loading to last the night and the operator would set the damper control according to the existing weather conditions. The fire would normally last approximately eight to twelve hours depending on the type of fuel used. The following morning, though the fuel might be exhausted, there would be some heat stored in the mass of the furnace and firebricks and it would still be adding heat to the heating system and to the house.
#10
Does the BlackJack furnace use outside air for draft air?
Yes, this is one of the main reasons for the growing popularity of outside furnaces. The draft air for most inside units has to come from the outside of the house to the inside before it can be used for draft air. This is the reason most inside stoves are so inefficient and uncomfortable. Any inside wood stove that does not have outside air piped to it relies on the house letting cold outside air in somewhere and once inside the cold air must move toward the stove. This is why most houses with inside wood stoves have uncomfortable cold air drafts. Once this cold air reaches the wood stove it is heated and once again it is expelled outside, through the flue pipe, wasting much of the heat. Simply using an outside furnace keeps this whole process outside for a safer, cleaner and more comfortable home.
#11
Can the BlackJack furnace be connected to an existing heating system
?
Yes the BlackJack furnace is designed to be a "central" unit. This means that if your existing system is a hot water, "hydronic" system you would want a water type unit. This type is equipped with a hot water type heat exchanger and would be connected to your homes existing heating system with water pipes. If your home is heated with forced air you might prefer the air type unit which is connected with hot air duct pipes. Because of advantages of hot water heating some who now have forced air may prefer to install a completely new hot water heating system as they can then use their forced air system -unchanged- for a back up system. While forced air models can only be used with a forced air system the hot water models can be used with either type of system. A BlackJack ™ furnace can also be used very nicely with a solar system so that on
those cold and cloudy days household heating will be readily and freely available from the BlackJack ™ furnace.
#12
How efficient is the BlackJack furnace?
The efficiency factor is comparable to that of other outside furnaces; the biggest advantage of the BlackJack ™ furnace however is in its lower overall cost of operation since the fuel it is designed for is either free or available at much lower cost. The bottom line is lower overall cost of operation. The unique large door openings, that allow using the larger forms of fuel, is the key factor here, refer back to question #3. The highest efficiency of any type system would come from planning for the amount of heat needed and then configuring the system for that need and for using the free or lowest cost fuels available.
#13
What type of flue pipe is used?
The flue pipe is an aluminum pipe of 8.5 inches diameter and normally 10 feet in length with a flue pipe cap and screen. It need not be an insulated pipe or multi-walled pipe as it does not pass through a combustible material, such as a ceiling or roof. And since aluminum pipe will not rust this arrangement will last maintenance free for many years. Longer flue pipes are available on special order for those who may have a special need, such as for a two story house.
#14
Are outside furnaces safe to use?
With an outside furnace no smoke, fire, sparks, hot ashes or hot surfaces are inside the home near family members. This speaks for personal safety as well as greater safety for the home. No danger is presented from a hot flue pipe going through a combustible roof, ceiling or wall, or from a flue pipe fire. This is why homeowners insurance is now more expensive for those who have wood stoves than for those with outside furnaces.
#15
What about air pollution with the BlackJack furnace?
Due to the unique design features of the BlackJack furnace, air pollution is minimized. These features are the furnace is lined with firebrick that take on a highly reflective quality when exposed to a fire. Because heat from combustion is reflected back at the fuel far less smoke is produced. This superheating of the fuel causes it to release its stored chemical energy in a more thorough manner. Super heating the fuel causes it to gasify more thoroughly, and thus to burn far cleaner, giving off less unburned products to the atmosphere. Also the patented vertical design, coupled with the unique double damper arrangement causes the flow of the combustible gases to pass through oxygen rich air for a greater distance. When the hottest, most efficient fire is present smoke is minimized producing less damaging air emissions to the surrounding environment from burning renewable wood than from burning fossil fuels. Scientists who are looking at the root causes of global warming say we are beginning to realize the full effects of burning fossil fuels and we must begin growing and using more renewable biomass and begin using other renewable energy sources.
#16
How long will the BlackJack furnace last?
Our furnace is constructed of 1/4" thick metal plate throughout and we guaranteed against burn out for a full 10 years. The furnace should last for 50 to 60 years or longer in normal use since the shell is protected on the inside by the firebrick and on the outside by galvanized metal covers. Some minor components such as the flue pipe, ash drawer and grates are guaranteed for 5 years from date of purchase. Components of the system manufactured by other companies carry their own warranties. We feel this is now by far the most permanent, long lasting and least costly system to install and maintain on the market today. Given the high cost of heating fuels, a BlackJack ™ furnace system could provide a savings of thousands of dollars over its life span while providing other benefits, such as better safety and environmental improvements, as well.
#17
Is it legal to use the BlackJack furnace anywhere?
Generally speaking, outside furnaces are legal. Some states and local governments may have code restrictions. It's always best to check with local authorities for laws pertaining to outside furnaces before ordering an outdoor furnace.
#18
What maintenance is required on the BlackJack furnace?
Units using water type heat exchangers will need freeze protection. We recommend filling the circulating system with an antifreeze mixture and testing it as you would an automotive system. This assures freeze protection in the outside loop. Caution must be used whenever antifreeze is used as it can be hazardous to humans or animals if were ingested. Any blower or circulating pump used in the system may require oiling from time to time. An annual cleaning and inspection are recommended. Chimney cleaning while not normally required with an outside furnace can be accomplished by simply lowering the top portion of the box on its hinges, so that the chimney outlet comes down near to the ground for an easy visual inspection by looking through it.
#19
What about dealers and financing
?
We plan to establish a network of distributors and dealers. We want well qualified companies with good reputations to sell, service and install our BlackJack furnace units. Until then orders for the BlackJack furnaces may be submitted directly to us here in Lawrence Kansas. A ten percent (20%) payment must accompany each order. COD arrangements may be made for the balance due. If other financing is needed lender arrangements should be considered. When a distributorship is established in a given area all service and warrantee work will be handled through them. AAEC will work with either the purchaser or with local contractor/service organizations toward on the spot customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event a unit must be returned for warrantee repair or replacement the manufacturer will repair or replace units at its discretion.
#20
Can the BlackJack furnace be installed by the purchaser
?
The purchaser can best answer this question. Some of the many things to consider are;
1. A concrete base is required for the unit to stand on and be bolted to.
2. The unit is heavy even without the firebrick and a wrecker or other type of heavy powered equipment is required to handle it.
3. Some plumbing and other mechanical skills are required for hook up.
#21
Can the BlackJack furnace be used for other purposes
?
The BlackJack furnace can serve as a smoker/cooker. Meats can be smoked or cooked in pans or on racks placed inside. The BlackJack furnace can also serve as an oven for baking or as a kiln for ceramics firing. We are developing a conversion kit for the tall furnace to provide a means to melt aluminum scrap into ingots for recycling. This can be a profit making activity. These kinds of profit making activities can be the basis for a home based business and when this is the main reason for the purchase, the purchase price or lease payments can qualify as a tax deduction.
#22
How else can a BlackJack furnace be used
?
The BlackJack furnace can be ordered without a heat exchanger, at reduced cost, for use as a stove. For some heating needs, such as heating of a greenhouse for example, the furnace could be installed inside, where codes permit, to be used as a large waste or wood burning heater. Other uses are for heating water in spas or hot tubs, drying grain on the farm, making charcoal, firing pottery or melting metals. Also it can be useful on the farm as a crematory, for disposal of dead poultry, swine, etc.
#23
What other considerations are there
?
The aluminum flue pipe is durable but pipes over 20 feet tall at the top need some type of support in a high wind.
The water heating models are the most versatile as these units work well with hot- water, forced air or most solar systems. Also the hot-water type can be used to heat both spaces and water for domestic use at the same time.
AAEC’s product lines can be manufactured in the US and in most any locality on any continent for the local and regional market. This we believe will create licensing opportunities and many thousands of good paying jobs, and these are among the things we are offering to an alternative energy hungry world.
