Pickwick tea is produced by Douwe Egberts Co., and it is the largest tea brand in the Netherlands.
Originally marketed under the company name, it was renamed “Pickwick” in 1937.
(One story claims it was named by the wife of a company official who liked Dickens’ story “Pickwick Papers.”)
It wasn’t imported to the USA in limited quantities until 2015.
