FROM THE SOUVENIR SHOP AT LAKE ITASCA, MINNESOTA "THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI SLOGAN" WOOD IS FROM PARK IN LAKE ITASCA. The item measures approximately W 2 1/2" x H 8 1/2" and it weighs approximately 8 OZ. This is a miniature replica of an original tree with the same slogan carved in to it at Lake Itasca in Minnesota. This was bought at the souvenir shop in the park located at Lake Itasca, MN. and it Reads "HERE 1475 FT. ABOVE THE OCEAN THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI BEGINS TO FLOW ON IT'S WINDING WAY 2552 MILES TO THE GULF OF MEXICO".
