    The old cast brass clips, have Common Scratches and Tarnish, as well as Slight Bends. They were manufactured, with the end tips, having a slight downward bend. The tones are slighter LIGHTER, than that, seen in the photos and the tones might vary slightly, among the pieces. The price is for the Ten, Old, Cast Brass, Hardware Clips, From Britain. Each reads: Clipper Brit. Pat. ....with 6 numbers following. Each clip bottom base, measures approximately 3" long and over 3/4" wide, at the farthest points. The top part measures over 2" long and approximately 1 1/8" wide, at the farthest points. The inside gap is less than 1/4", at the closed end and wider, toward the open end. We feel that these old clips, were very possibly, for thin drapery or fabric and that the fabric, was simply inserted, into the clips and that the "tension", kept the clips, in place. These Ten, Old, Cast Brass, Hardware Clips, From Britain, would display wonderfully, for a unique project. Returns are accepted.
