This is a model replica of the famous Tuk Tuk Taxi from Bangkok, Thailand. It is a highly detailed rendition that was handmade from plastic.
The model taxi has 3 embossed side plates that have cultural icons in Thailand: the Royal Barge, the Royal Palace, the revered Elephant, and a Tuk Tuk vehicle. The car is also marked with a "Thailand" inscription on the backside.
Each Thailand Taxi is multi-colored, representing the many vibrant styles that each owner would paint their Tuk Tuk.
Tuk-Tuks are very popular with tourists as the most exhilarating choice of getting around Bangkok city. At one time, there were no "taxies", only Tuk Tuks.
