    Description

This is a 1931 YEARBOOK "THE HOWITZER" for the US ARMY Military Academy at WEST POINT, NEW YORK. The book is in used very nice condition. It has a pressed grass/plant on page 282. I don't know the significance of it. The one cadet I pictured is John Waters, who I believe was wounded in North Africa and captured during WWII. He was the main reason for the ill fated rescue of POW's in Hammelburg, Germany by General George Patton. He was Patton's son in law. He will also become Army Chief of Staff after WWII. This is a nice looking yearbook. Great for the collector. SOLD AS IS.  No reserve. BUYER PAYS SHIPPING
