  • Condition: Vintage 1930s "Council Coffee and Chicory" paper bag, one half pound size, from the Sugar & Coffee Service Corp. Mobile, Alabama, Roasters & Distributors. Chicory is a mostly southern addition to coffee blends that results in a super strong blend. The bag shows some stains, age yellowing and surface wear. The colors are bright. Cool graphics, thought I'm not sure what the gentleman around the table are doing besides drinking coffee. Measured flat, the bag is approx. 7 3/4". It has a paper covered wire closure. The bag will be wrapped in a plastic bag and shipped in a rigid mailer to protect it during transit.
