Vintage Hand Carved Chinese Green Variegated Soapstone Sculpture; Bird & Leaves

Description

This is a beautiful impressive piece of carving - which was sold to us as jade ( which we never totally believed....)
Nevertheless, it is a very nice example - featuring leaves and on the top right what definitely looks like a bird with wings.
It is carved on both sides ( not a given!) and unsigned.
Measurements: 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall MOL
Comes with an oval wooden stand
