If you have ever been to Jakarta, Indonesia, you have probably heard about this 5-star luxury hotel that opened in the 1940s.
The wooden clothes hanger is in pretty good condition and would be a great conversation piece.  As you can see from the photos, there is a crack visible on the back of the hanger, in the middle where the metal hook is attached to the hangar. Also on the back, there is some information that appears to be telephone numbers and possibly information that identifies where the hangar was made. That is difficult to read.
If you collect vintage clothes hangers, this would be an interesting addition to your collection. The vast number of clothes hangers today are made of plastic and don't last like the wooden ones. Wooden ones are more substantial and carry the weight of outer garments. This item is noteworthy because it is from Indonesia.
