Vintage Japan Tea Box Wood paper graphics tin lined

Description

Vintage Japanese Tea Box Crate.  Japan Tea
measures 17 x 9.5” x 11”
Paper graphics applied over wood with tin lined interior.
Graphic paper applied to all four exterior sides as well as box top.
Latching mechanism works. Hinged lid.
Exterior bottom of box is stamped Made in Japan.
There are areas where the exterior paper is worn or missing predominately on corners and top of box.
There are areas of water discoloration on the bottom as well as a few small dark stains
Graphic colors are strong and bright featuring pink standard chrysanthemums and green leaves on a
blue background painted to look like wood grain, and bordered by a modified Greek Key design.
Tin lining is intact and in good shape.
