Vintage LAGUNA Swim Trunks 70s 80s Made In USA S 28-30 Red Short Shorts

See measurements below as these run on the small side & vintage sizes tend to be smaller than modern day sizes. In my opinion, these are best suited for a 28 waist at most.
All pics are of the same one pair of swim shorts. See all pics for details & enlarge each pic for a closer look. Any wear, spots/stains/soiling is to be considered character. See pics 11 & 12.

Resting, waist measures 12 1/4” from side to side. Pulled taught, measures 17” from side to side... but, it would not be comfortable to wear them this tight. More comfortably stretches up to 14” from side to side (IN MY OPINION).
Rise (crotch seam to top of waist) is 10 3/4”.
Hips area...measurement from side seam to side seam where bottom of pockets start is 17 1/8”. But... fully extended.. which includes fabric from the back is 18 3/4” from side to side.
Estimate 1970s to 1980s. Most of the shorts I've seen with this label and in this style... the sellers seem to say 1970s.
