Vintage Swim Shorts Made In California Plaid Elastic Waist S Right Front Pocket

It looks like there may have been another label at one time. But, it’s been cut out/off.
I don’t see or can’t read the contents and I’m unable to make out the size. Please see measurements & see pics for laying flat measurements.
Elastic waist with draw string.
The plaid fabric does not have stretch to it.
One small pocket that has a button. It is located on the right front.
Resting, waist measures 12” from side to side. Pulled taught, it easily goes to 15” from side to side.... maybe up to 16” from side to side. Keep in mind that the more the waist is stretched, the tighter it will be on your waist. Pulled extremely and unreasonably taught goes up to 18” from side to side. There is no way you’d be able to wear this tight. I’d say best for up to a 30” waist... up to a 32” waist at most. This is just my opinion.
