Presented for sale a
Vintage Ocean Champion Swimwear Store Display.
This is a really cool item which appears to be very rare…
have not
found another one offered for sale, or even referenced anywhere.
Old store displays were often disposed of. Not a lot of people had the opportunity
to get them - they were not mass produced for resale and limited in distribution to
certain stores.
The display reads:
Ocean Champion  -  Choice of the U.S. Olympic Team
The manequinn measures  19 1/2

Suit is a size 26.

The mannequin exhibits heavy shelf wear. There is paint loss and scratches.
Both legs are cracked / split as shown in photos. Right leg has an outside
crack. Left leg has a crack on both the inside and outside.
The red lettering
appears to have a vintage touch up to the paint.
The trunks have soiling / staining.  There’s a very small hole in the front which
we’ve shown in a close-up above.  We did not attempt to remove the swim trunks.
We’ve made no attempt to clean, paint, or
repair this item.   Selling as found.
