rare Whitehead & Hoag, fold-out stamp box/case advertising Aspin's Coffee! Printed
on the front & back of the
celluloid covers
is
"Ask Your Grocer For Aspin's Coffee"
- It is
shaped like a book
and the
aluminum case
between the
celluloid covers pivots/swivels out nicely.
On the
spine
is printed
"Postage and Revenue Stamps", "Court Plaster"
and
"Nick Nacks".
On the
back cover
at the
bottom
is
printed, "The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J.
- It measures
2" wide, 1 1/4" high
and
1/4" thick
.
It has a
little wear
including some of the
printing worn especially on the back cover
and there
are a
few short light scratches
on the
covers. Otherwise
it is in
very good working condition.
