This is a rare piece of sheet music for the song "MY MIND'S ON YOU" from the Original Broadway production of the HUGH THOMAS and WILLIAM ROY musical disappointment "MAGGIE" which played the National Theatre in New York City. (The production opened February 18th, 1953 and closed after only five performances.) ..... The musical starred BETTY PAUL, KEITH ANDES and ODETTE MYRTIL (who replaced IRENE BORDONI in Philadelphia when she withdrew from the production) and featured BRAMWELL FLETCHER, CELIA LIPTON, JOHN HOYT, FRANK MAXWELL, JAMES BRODERICK, ALICIA KRUG, KATHRYN LEE and MARC PLATT ..... Side Note: Madame Marstonne in "MAGGIE" was the final bow for actress IRENE BORDONI who was forced to leave the production in Philadelphia due to illness. She passed away on March 19th, 1953 at the age of 53, just one month after the musical opened and closed on Broadway .....
